Yesterday I was asked a great question: whether the featured image of the post calling for anthology contributions is AI-generated. To the best of my knowledge, it is not. It’s a public domain image that I found on Pixabay, by searching for “steampunk robot” and filtering out Al-generated images. If you zoom in far enough all the little details make sense. I tweaked the colours in Canva to match the colour scheme of this website. The art is by Bildmonteur.
I will never knowingly use AI “art” for any of my projects. It’s unethical. AI images are generated by scraping the data from actual art that people have created, and regurgitating it. AI also uses way more electricity than conventional tools.
I once used an AI image by accident for one of my posts. Once I realized, I went back and changed it to something else.
All of that said, the anthology will include the perspectives of people who like AI. Otherwise it would not reflect the full spectrum of Pagan opinions on the subject.
